Curse of the Weresloth

This game is a solo journaling ttrpg about involuntary shapeshifting and moving very slowly.

You do not know it yet, and maybe you will never know it, but you have inherited your family’s ancient curse. However, your ancestors were not cool enough to be cursed to turn into something flashy, fast, and deadly like a werewolf. Instead, you are now a weresloth! Play this game to find out how that goes for you.

To play this game, you will need the instructions which you download from this page, a standard six-sided die, also known as a d6, a notebook and a pencil, or some other means of recording your character’s experiences, and a  sense of the absurd.

The files currently available for download only have minimal formatting so as to fit the theme of the Minimalist TTRPG Jam.  A version with slightly nicer formatting will be available at some point in the future after that jam is over.

Potential Trigger Warnings: faulty memory, fantastical temporary loss of bodily autonomy, death, transformations that are as full of body horror as you want to make them, your fate being at the mercy of the random chance of dice rolls. If you are not in the mood for dealing with one or more of these things in a game setting, then this game is probably not something that you will enjoy.
